As they say, there is a limit of tolerance and whenever the evil that any society can tolerate goes beyond the limit, there has always been a revolution. From the birth of Ram and Krishna in ancient history to the JP Revolution in 1974 and the recent Anna Andolan, revolutions have dethroned tyrants.
Absolute power, corrupts absolutely, thus there has to be proper check and balance. Being a Law Student, I am inclined to asking this question. Does the organ for checks and balance, which we studied about, actually exist?
The answer I have reached at is- Yes; Now it does.
The public is the system and the results of Delhi elections are an affirmation of that. The victory of Aam Aadmi Party is a victory of Democracy, according to me.
The re-election of Arvind Kejriwal shows that people have buried the past. Now, Kejriwal has to work on making the future perfect, writes Ravi Budhwani.

The election results not only put the agitation commons had against the government on the centre-stage but also that show that the time when elections were fought on grounds of caste and religion with money and muscle power is in the history books. The public does not demand a NOTA option on the EVM but a candidate worth being voted. Delhi has declared it out loud, “Worship your work and you shall be rewarded.”
The mandate of people in Delhi has given a message that the hierarchy of arbitrary orders coming down the line is not accepted. Rather, the system should be such that the laws that are kept are made, keeping in mind the needs of people.
Arvind Kejriwal: Future-Perfect Tense
The resignation of Arvind Kejriwal from the post of Chief Minister of Delhi was an immature decision. While it raised questions over his ambitions, it also showed that he is not a diplomat and a man who does not try to bend the system to his demands.
A face out of the masses started small, dreamt big, mistakenly threw it away, dreamt bigger, failed openly, and accepted mistakes. He improved himself, kept going on and won bigger than he dreamt.
My Expectations From The Aam Aadmi Party
I, like several others have high expectations from Aam Aadmi Party but out of several expectations I have, the prime is to look as to how the National Capital Region as a whole, can be made an area safe for women to go around. 'Jan Lokpal bill', legislation related to water and electricity, education and public health would be other prime expectations.
We are all aware; Delhi is a Union Territory with limitations and the interference of central government to a high extent and with the humiliation that Arvind Kejriwal has faced the BJP with; it is very unlikely that he will receive any favours from the centre. My worry is not if AAP will deliver its promises but the extent to which it practically can. The bigger the margin of the victory, the bigger has become the size of mountains yet for Arvind Kejriwal to climb.
